Welcome to Smart Slides, a service that enables users to create slide presentations using ChatGPT technology. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our service.
1. Service Description
Smart Slides is an online platform that allows users to create slide presentations by leveraging ChatGPT technology. Users can input their requirements, and the AI-powered system will generate slide content based on the provided information.
2. User Responsibilities
As a user of Smart Slides, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when using our service
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not use the service to create content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
3. Intellectual Property
All content generated by Smart Slides, including slide presentations, text, images, and other materials, is the property of Smart Slides or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the generated content for their personal or business purposes. Users may may modify, distribute, or reproduce the content without prior written consent from Smart Slides.
4. Service Quality and Limitation of Liability
Smart Slides strives to provide a high-quality service, but we do not guarantee that the generated content will be error-free, accurate, or suitable for your specific needs. The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall Smart Slides be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of our service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our service shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing our service during the six (6) months immediately preceding the date of the claim.
5. Termination
Smart Slides reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or illegal activity, or requests by law enforcement or government agencies.
6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of NSW. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the ACICA.
7. Changes to the Terms
Smart Slides reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Payment and refunds
Users who subscribe to a paid version of smart slides by default sign up to a recurring monthly charge. In order to manage your subscription you must go into the Smart Slides Stripe portal and cancel your membership. Smart Slides will not pay refunds for previous payments. If you have issues cancelling you may contact the Smart Slides team who can support with cancellation and confirmation.
